Arcade Mode - The newest edition to the already thrilling, Fruit Ninja franchise. With this new gaming mode, it's become clear instantly that Arcade much more up-tempo then Classical or Zen mode. Arcade Mode consists of new additional help, such as - The Three Banana's:
- Freeze - Stops the time and slows down all fruit.
- Frenzy - Fruit comes flying from across the board in waves, giving astonishing combos!
- Double-points - Every fruit sliced gets x2 of the normal score.
To help you get an even greater score is the aftermath 'bonus points', where you can grab anything from 15-130 more points! With all these new advantages you'd think Fruit Ninja: Arcade Mode would be quite the ease, but you'll find; once you've played it, that it's nothing of the sort.
Arcade Mode has, like Classical Mode, brought back the 'Exploding Bombs' which have caused chaos to many gamers! Even more-so, this time they've added a different depressing ending if you hit one of them, instead of the old "Hit a bomb, you lose" rule, they simply knock 10 points of your score and, just to humiliate you a tad more: kill all fruit that is up in the air at that time, wasting valuable seconds of your slicing!
Arcade Mode, like Zen Mode, comes with a timer. In Arcade Mode it's set to 1:00 (minute)
Now you know what to except when you hit Arcade Mode, let me tell you what you'll need to-do-to hit them high-scores and get them great combos!

- The one thing you've got to understand is NO FRUIT, no matter how many, is worth the risk of a bomb! You've got only one minute, thus you cannot waste you time hitting bombs. Almost in every case, you can miss the bomb yet still slice the fruit, you've just got to plan when to hit it without hitting a bomb. Normally bombs will not fly as high as Fruit, so when a fruit has reached it's highest point, provided it's not covered by a bomb, slice it immediately before it flies back down.
TIP 2: Tasty Bananas'
The Banana bonuses are the key to getting the best high-scores, bananas' fly from the sky and you must slice them just like any other fruit, but be quick, bananas become very hard to slice once they get to far down. Once again, a banana is not worth a bomb, and you've always got another chance, don't waste a minute of your time just to get another average score! If you can get the Bananas then each one has a specific playing point, which, if you play to your advantage, could get you tons' of score:
- Frenzy Advantages - The Frenzy can get you quite a few score without taking much into account and just slicing. But if you play the Frenzy into your hand, you could be setting yourself up to have more than 200 score in the frenzy. The one thing you've got to remember is that whilst the Frenzy is active they're no bombs, NO bombs = NO chance of losing time. "So what do I do now?" Well simple, you wait! There is no point slashing every fruit as soon as it enters the board, you've got to wait till a large collection of fruit hits the middle, then when you've got all them there, slice all them and get one juicy combo, remember - combos always x2 your score, so a nine combo will get you 18 points! If you get a double points banana with a Frenzy banana you could be hitting a heck of a high-score. If you get it with Freeze Banana and if you play the advantage card of letting them fly into the middle then you could rack up over 400 score in one Frenzy alone! It's all in how you play, you could get 10 on a Frenzy or up to, and over - 500 points! All in 15 seconds!
- Freeze Advantage - The best thing about Freeze is the time stops, you've only got one minute like I've said, so anytime you gain is time needing to be spent. Once you've hit Freeze the fruit will slow down, to the point where combos are just something you'll always get. Bombs become particularly slow when in Freeze, if you hit one whilst in Freeze you'll seriously need to stop playing with your thumb in the game. Freeze offers great combos and a good 10 seconds of no-time. So take it to your advantage and get great combos!
- Double-Points Advantage - The best thing about Double-Points is, well you guessed it! Double-Points! This bonus works well with any of the bananas as it just hurls in the score, it's pretty good without the other two bananas if your good at getting combos without Frenzy or Freeze. Double-Points can't be tactical although the more combos you get the more score you'll get and all combos are x4 so if you hit a 5 combo you'll be getting 20 score on the Double-Points!
Tip 3: Look'at the time, we'd better be going!
Never rush yourself, always keep your eye of the time and keep you eye on the Fruit flying in the air. You've only got a minute and every mili-second is important if you want the high-score, looking at the time will only make your brain more weary that you've got so little! You've got to keep going and not rush or hesitate in the dying moments of the game, it may make you lose dozens of score which you cannot.
Tip 4: Bombs incoming!
In every game there is bound to be one part where you just think "I'm never going to knife any of them?" But don't think like that! You've got to always remain positive and when the bombs are away from the Fruit slice all the the Fruit until there is nothing left. Never leave Fruit at the dying stages then try and slice it, always try to hit them while there in the air
Tip 5: I'll use my little finger?
Using your thumb or a big, lumpy finger will greatly improve your chances of hitting a bomb, try using your index finger or, if you can, your pinky finger!

i hate this game, because it's all about luck. mostly i do only get 2-3 bananas per game and even then the frenzy ones push too few fruits onto the screen. sometimes i have to restart the game up to twenty times to get a appropriate banana density. why am i punishing myself that hard? some asshole who i know, set a new highscore on my (!) phone: 1150, whilst my highest score has been something around 975.

I got 1113 but I used my gf's phone I had a lucky game and got about 5-6 bananas now I can't beat it on my phone 843 :( I see so this is how all these people get scores so high that you can't even come close to beating them!! I would say anything over 1500 would be a hack. An average game for me would be anything from 500-700
My score is 473 cant imagine that waiting for the Frenzy fruits are in the middle makes me get way more points as that is the only thing i dont do from the advices given here. But well ima give it a shot.

My best is 1516, no hack but never got anywhere near since. Probably only about 1300. does anyone know if there is a different bonus for 1111 or does it just give you the triple digit bonus?

Guys, you realise that, by hitting three bombs, you lose 30 points, but gain a +50 bonus at the end? If there are no fruit on the board at the time, I try to hit the bombs, but no more than three because otherwise you star losing points.
A silly risk since you only have a minute and there's always fruit.

Whenever you see fruit close to eachother slowly cut them, but make sure you don't raise your blade. You don't necissarily have to hit the fruit all together in one second to get a combo. :D

Some of you probably already knows this but you should take notice that each banana you slice during an active banana-bonus. It will reset the timer of that bonus. For ex. You have the FREEZE that's active for 10 sec. If you slice a FRENZY by chance within that 10 sec, it will reset the 10 sec back to zero. Same goes when a third banana comes in. It will reset the timer of BOTH bananas. Giving you one helluva opportuniy to score some huge amounts of points. That's how I got my current highscore 1026
Ive topped 1400+ twice with no hacks. I can't imagine a score over 2000 without hacks. Felt like I played flawless and had extreme luck to reach 1439.

I have had a few high scores over 1000, I just got 1340 today. My average is probably 500+.
There is one tip mentioned that says to use a smaller finger to avoid the bombs. I would say, get better at avoiding the bombs. I use my larger index finger and sometimes, if I see a bunch of fruit in a row and I press more of my finger to the screen, I hit more of the close-together fruit. It's like your 'invisible' sword gets wider. More fruit in one swipe means a higher fruit combo bonus which leads to a higher blitz bonus.
Also, always go for multiple fruit even if you have to wait a bit longer (see my last tip). Occasionally only one fruit at a time will go up. You have to strike those down quickly to get more fruit --- I can usually 'sensei' when that happens.
When there is a fruit frenzy, wait before slicing up fruit. Some people just slash their finger all over the screen hitting single or double fruits (no bonus there) and miss getting the multiple fruit bonus points from hitting three or more fruits (which also leads to a higher blitz bonus). The more fruit you have on the screen, the more you can slice in one stroke and thus you have a better chance for more the multiple fruit bonus.
The best possible situation is getting your 30 point blitz bonus (max bonus) with the freeze, frenzy, and double bonus bananas going.
How to get a bigger fruit bonus at the end of the round - If you have a freeze and a frenzy going, wait for a lot of fruit to be on the screen before slashing. If you are at a high multiple fruit bonus, fruit appears faster and more will be on the screen at this time. When the screen is full of slow-moving fruit, make a good slash, getting as many fruits as possible. I have gotten a 12 fruit slash this way. At the end of the game, you get a large bonus for the highest multiple fruit slash. 9 gets you 50 points. I can't remember what 12 got me. 8 gets you 40 points.
One last tip. Spend a few games and just watch the fruit as it flies up in the air. Sometimes the fruit won't look like it is lining up but waiting a little longer and it gets a better shape (by lining up, I don't mean a straight line, it may be an arc). Wait and see how the fruit lines up. Once it is lined up, then make a graceful slash that encompasses all the fruit. Trying to hit fruit right as it comes on the screen is not going to get your blitz bonus going higher.
