By Indigital
In an age where we're always looking for an easier, quicker and diverse way to read and learn; Summly is a great app for day to day use. Created by a 16 year old entrepreneur in his bedroom after becoming tired of useless websites that don't deliver necessary information.
The app first came into public eye after a £250,000 investment from Horizons Ventures, a company that had early investments in Facebook, Spotify and Siri. Summly then hit more public success when it won 'app of the week' on Apps Store.
Setting Up Summly
After downloading, click on the app. This will obviously put you through to the interface. At the top left corner there should be a hyperlink, one clicked it will ask you if you'd like to integrate Summly with Safari. Press install. Now you can access Summly on Safari. If you ever click on the Summly bookmark, the algorithm will do the rest.
How to use Summly
When you're on any website which has heaps of information, you can simply click the bookmark and it will move you to Summly. Once there, Summly will give you a more user-friendly article of information - with around 3 to 5 bullet-points.
You can use Summly whenever browsing the web, and the app works within seconds and gives good results. It's especially good for news articles, because it bullet-points the main-headlines. It will also give you keywords for the link.

This sounds pretty useful. Have you tried it out? On the down side it could promote certain news sources MSM, and censor information in the future. But, google already kind of does that.
